 Great drumFeb 27, 2008
The top item on my daugther's Christmas list was a drum. She is 4 years old and just couldn't wait to see if Santa brought her drum. She has played with it a good bit since then. The only complaint is that the maracas that came with it fell apart after only several uses. And, unfortunately, it occurred at her day care since she brought them for show and tell. When I arrived, they were still trying to clean up all of the small silver balls that were inside.
The drum has held up very well though and overall we are pleased.

This set is sturdy and my 3 year old loves it. I would have given it 5 stars but the strap won't stay on the drum and you can barely hear the maracas. Nevertheless, my toddler finds it sufficient and has had lots of fun playing with it.

We are very happy with the quality of the instruments. The scale is just right for samll hands. The children love to put on shows!

My grandson, the budding music genius, cannot get enough of this music kit. I love to hear him bang away and play - at our daughter's house, of course. Great toy, looks good, terrific play value.

We got this set for my almost 3 year old son. He just loves it. He is a such a musical kid and this was right up his alley. I was really impressed with how well made the instruments where. Not cheap plastic and aluminum, but real wood and sturdy metal. We will be buying all the rest of the First Act Discovery line.
