4Great product for the priceMay 15, 2008
I purchased this PA system along with the speaker stands, to use at a medium-size church for a wedding. I used it to play music for the prelude, processional and recessional, and for a few live vocal performances with instrumental background. It sounded great. Very clean and professional sounding. Powerful enough that I didn't need to turn the master volume above 50%. The control knobs are easy to handle with one finger. The stereo inputs are very handy for playing music through an iPod/mp3 player, CD player, or any standard portable music device. I really like they way the whole thing packs up into a single unit, so there's only one thing to carry, and not three.

One negative...The plastic knobs are kinda cheap, not very durable. If you're going to use this a lot, I would be concerned about the knobs eventually breaking.

Suggestions...The included speaker cables are quite short. You'll most likely need to buy longer ones. Also, use speaker stands, or something comparable to raise the speakers to ear level or higher, but the same would apply for any PA system.

Bottom line...Great product for the price.

4Portable system that packs a punch!Mar 28, 2008
This portable system is a little heavier than I initially anticipated, but not so bad I can't get it everywhere I need to go. I am a fitness instructor that teaches at several different locations with no sound equipment at all. This system is perfect for the size classes I currently teach and when I open my studio it will be more than enough to be set up in a more permanent fashion. The special Voice override feature is nice for presentations where you need the music to turn down while you are speaking, but I can't use this feature in a fitness class. I can plug in my microphone, iPod, and a CD player and still have room for more if I wanted. Very happy with this purchase and a great deal!

4Excellent Portable SystemJan 12, 2008
This is an excellent product for smaller venues ( up to about 150 people) Sound is clear, well constructed, plenty of inputs for my purposes. The only negative for me is that all the cables and microphone do not fit into the unit for portability. There is a small cubby on the unit that will fit the power cord and maybe 1 speaker cord.

5Portable, loud, and GREAT soundDec 03, 2007
I used to use a PD-250 but never turned it up even half way, and it was 55 lbs. compared to the PD-150's 26 lbs. Now I don't have to lean to the left when carrying it with my right hand. The controls are very easy to use, and I really like the VIP (voice input priority) that turns the music down when you speak into the mike. For the $410 I payed for it brand new, its a steal.
