 Great singing machineAug 12, 2008
Quick delivery. Came in two days earlier than estimated arrival date. My 9 year old son and 6 year old daughter have had a blast on it. Easy for them to use and we've had some fun on it too. The screen graphics are a bit out dated, but we were prepared for that from previous reviews. Good purchase.

I purchased the Karaoke System for my 4 grandaughters ranging in age from 7-14. I had dropped their former unit. They really enjoy it and have used it continuously.

Our home is now Happier with the Singing Machine! While it is hard to find wholesome cd's all we need is to visit Christian Book Distributors or CBD.com But be sure to get cd+g for graphics or you will just be able to hear the music. Some cd's say karaoke but not cd+g. Graphics are good if you want to see the words.
The Singing Machine sounds great! The screen is black and white and I wish it had a digital mode because it is blurry on our HD TV. But for the money this is still a great little system. It is sturdy and the microphone that comes with it is very high quality. It has a tape player so you can play or record tapes.
It is also good for young singers to practice and helps shy ones to come out of their shells. We have 6 children and 4 of them LOVE it!!
Amazon still has the best price!

Purchase was made for our 10 yr old son on his birthday and he and his friends had a blast with this machine. His 4 yr old brother was very entertained with this product also. Hours of laughter.... it was a great substitute for video games. I shopped around before buying and this was being sold at a comparable price to other websites with similar machines.

My kids and I enjoy jamming on this. We bought the extra microphone for duets. (and so the kids didn't fight over who got to hold the mic) We've had a great time this summer singing off key and not a soul caring. I also plan to take this into my classroom every once in awhile to use for "Author's Chair" and occasionally treat them to a special karaoke party for special celebrations. My only wish is that it was more easily portable...a handle on top maybe???
