Steve Manzelli
Senior Vice President, Regional Sales

Steve Manzelli joins AMPS as senior vice president of regional sales and will manage the regional sales teams across the U.S. He will be responsible for providing sales support while creating additional enterprise sales opportunities in market segments such as health systems and association health plans. Mr. Manzelli comes to AMPS after serving as CEO of SSMMC, where he was responsible for overseeing the consulting firm, providing strategy for growth and market engagement with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, health systems, associations and large employers/Taft-Hartley groups. Concurrent with this position he was also a co-founder of Inventavis, a consulting firm serving a similar market. His sales experience included positions as vice president, sales and client services at POMCO, senior vice president of sales at Health Now Administrative Services and senior executive of client development at JLT Services Corporation.

Zack Simpson
Vice President of Southwest Sales

Zack Simpson joins AMPS as the sales leader for the southwest region. Prior to AMPS, Mr. Simpson was a sales executive and account manager for Lucent Health. Mr. Simpson also held positions at ERISA Administrators. Mr. Simpson graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in maritime administration.

Scott Fuqua
Vice President - New Business Development

Scott graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign,in 1990 with a B.A. in Business.  From there, he worked for 3 years in London for Time Entertainment Network doing Product Placement, Advertising, and Sales Promotions.  He returned to the states in 1993 and worked for Liberty Mutual in Chicago, launching his career in the insurance industry while obtaining his Masters Degree.  Over the next several years, Scott held various business development positions focused on Cost Management Solutions working directly with some of the largest payors in the country at organizations such as First Health, and then advanced his career forward as co-founder of a few successful start-up organizations.  During that time Scott received some national recognition's such as the Inc. 5000 List, Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 100 organizations 2 years in a row and voted as Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Sales Executives in 2003.  He also was involved in the ownership/management of 3 independent diagnostic testing facilities in the Las Vegas and Chicagoland markets.  Since that time, Scott has taken his broad expertise and continued his 25 year-long healthcare career focusing on various Cost Management strategies in the self-funded, employee benefits space.  Today, Scott is the VP of New Business development for AMPS and lives in the Chicagoland area.  He is extremely passionate about helping employers and in educating the community on inner workings of the healthcare marketplace, and the broken US healthcare system.

Scott has 2 wonderful daughters – high school and college aged – who he loves to spend any of his free time with.  In terms of recreation, Scott is an avid photographer, artist and outdoors man, and enjoys many outdoor related activities such as hiking, mountain biking, golf and several other sports and physical activities. He also has a passion for anything music related, and a fan of live performances of any kind.
